"By telling the tales of how man conquered light, borders between bulbs and luminaires get blurred."

LED technology is a significant step forward in illumination. It reduces CO2 emissions thanks to its low energy consumption: a saving of 80% over incandescent and halogen light bulbs and the lifetime of a new LED bulb is a good 25 times longer than that of incandescent bulbs.

LED technology offers new extraordinary new design possibilities. No longer bound by the technical limitations of the incandescent light sources, it is now possible to explore the many faces of light.

The use of the oil lamp goes back thousands of years. For ages, they were the only source of continuous light. This new “Oil lamp” is named after paraffin, once the most popular fuel. Through capillarity, the paraffin was sucked up very little at a time by the wick. Just like its predecessor, this new “Paraffina” is now equally efficient with its precious source of energy.

Polaris

Polaris, also known as the North Star, shines brightly in sky. Almost motionless, this eternal beacon has guided countless sailors home. Like his celestial brother, Polaris is part of a new generation of light bulbs that will lead the way into a new era of energy saving illumination and lighting design.

The thought of Vienna send us back into time, bringing to mind fairytale-like ballrooms and amazing opera houses with filled colourful crystal chandeliers. It were the days of the industrial revolution that brought us life-changing inventions like the light bulb. Here is a thought: what would the light bulb have looked like if Edison had the same possibilities we have today?

TamTam

The tam-tam is a traditional drum that was used to pass messages over longer distances or to make important announcements.
Through its elegant passe-partout design, TamTam is meant to quickly diffuse into our homes and thus spread the message that LED light bulbs can be so much more than a mere redesign of traditional light bulbs.
